CETMA presented the FURHY project in a dedicated poster session, during the workshop "The Future of Advanced Polymers and Composites: Strategies for Improved Sustainability" held in Parma (Italy) on 24 September 2024. The meeting was organised by RINA to promote the link between European projects working on materials sustainability, circular economy and composites.

The 3rd project meeting (Month 12) of FURHY project will be hosted by the project Co-ordinator, CETMA , at its headquartes (Brindisi-Italy) on 3rd of July 2024. After a year filled with technical activities, it is time to review the intermediate results achieved and chart the course for the next six months. This meeting provides a valuable opportunity for all partners to come together, exchange ideas, and offer suggestions.

7th June 2024, Brussels (Belgium) / Hybrid

Our project Coordinator Luigia Longo will participate, on behalf of FURHY, in the Open Innovation Workshop on Recycling, Reuse and, Recovery of Advanced composites.

The event, organised by the sister project REPOXYBLE project, will be in hybrid mode, on 7th of June and taking place in Brussels and on-line.

FURHY Project, represented by CETMA, will participate in the Workshop “Efficient, Lightweight, Sustainable Advanced Materials - Supporting EU industry meet the Green Deal targets” organised by the European Commission, on June 6th, 2024, Conference Centre Albert Borchette, Room CCAB A1, Rue Froissart 36, Etterbeek, Brussels.

Why Attend? The development and adoption of innovative, efficient, lightweight, and sustainable advanced materials/processes are vital for the EU industry to achieve significant reductions in carbon footprint and advance towards a circular economy.

16th April 2024, Rome - Italy

CETMA attended the workshop "Tecnologie spaziali per le future missioni di ASI / Space technologies for future ASI missions" hosted by ASI - Agenzia Spaziale Italiana. The event will be held from 16 to 19 April and is aimed at the industrial sector, universities and research centres throughout the country. During the interested section “Advanced materials and advanced manufacturing”, CETMA was able to enlarge its networking and showcase the last results of FURHY project among relevant stakeholders.

20-22 March 2024, Grottaglie (Taranto), Italy

CETMA and Leonardo meet at the second edition of the Mediterranean Aerospace Matching (MAM), set to unfold from March 20th to 22nd, 2024, at the Marcello Arlotta Airport in Taranto-Grottaglie (Italy).

Our colleague, Alessandro MARSEGLIA from CETMA, showcased FURHY project during dedicated BtoB sessions with industry leaders.

This international gathering boasts 115 distinguished speakers, 15 riveting flight demonstrations, and exclusive European aerospace summits.

22-23 February, 2024, MPG’s new research laboratory in Leuven (Belgium)

Our partner Centexbel (speaker Mr. Stijn Van Vrekhem) will present its research activity in the FURHY project during the "MPG Academy Workshop on Functional Coatings" to be held on 22 and 23 of February 2024 at the MPG’s new research laboratory in Leuven (Belgium).

In FURHY project, Centexbel is responsible for the #plasma-treatment of hemp fabrics to improve the adhesion with the composite resin.

CETMA, together with the delegation of Enterprise Europe Network Aerospace & Defence Sector group, will be participating in the 5th edition of NSE - New Space Economy 2023 Brokerage Event on 6th of December 2023.

NSE brokerage event, endorsed by ASI – the Italian Space Agency and by CNR – the National Council of Research of Italy, is organised within the framework of the New Space Economy ExpoForum, the international technology transfer exhibition and conference focused on the capacity of the new space economy in enabling new terrestrial markets based on entrepreneurial-driven space innovation.

Alessandro MARSEGLIA (CETMA) will be participating in the Enterprise Europe Network Aerospace & Defence Sector group Meeting, taking place in Rome on 5th and 6th of December 2023.

This Sector Group brings together 34 experts from Europe's top Aeronautics, Space and Defence covering 13 member states. The members are committed Network advisors with specific background and experience and relevant clientele in the sector.

CETMA presents FURHY at MECSPE Bari 2023. MECSPE‘s return to Bari takes place under the theme of innovation. In a region that has a cluster dedicated to aeronautics, high-tech industries and research centers such as the Politecnico di Bari and CETMA, the PIAZZA DELL’INNOVAZIONE PER LA TRANSIZIONE ENERGETICA finds its natural location within MECSPE, Italy’s leading technology fair for the industry.
